His Excellency Ambassador Joshua Gatimu, EBS met with the Mayor of Kashan city, Mr. Hassan Bakhshandeh Amnieh
On 7th May, 2022- His Excellency Ambassador Joshua Gatimu, EBS met with the Mayor of Kashan city, Mr. Hassan Bakhshandeh Amnieh at his office headquarter. The mayor informed the Ambassador and his team on the rich history of Kashan. Kashan city produces a variety of products including industrial ceramics, building stones, mining products, herbal products and medicines, rose water etc. Both leaders also discussed on areas that Kashan city can cooperate with a Kenyan city on sisterly engagemeng in areas such as;
1. City/Municipality Management
2. Tourism
3. Export cooperation
4. City transportation issues
5. Garbage collection
6. Education
7. And other day today challenges of the city etc
The meeting suggested cities such as Mombasa, Lamu and Garissa to be the best for such cooperation with Kashan City.
