Kenya’s Ambassador Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Jonah Mwangi called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran

As part of preparation for presentation of credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on 18th November, 2025, Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Jonah Mwangi, Kenya’s Ambassador-designate to Iran called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran. The Minister stressed the importance of working with all relevant Iranian government and private sector stakeholders in an effort to further strengthen Kenya – Iran relations. On his part, the Ambassador-designate restated Kenya’s commitment to enhance the existing bilateral relations.
