The Principal Secretary, State Department for Agriculture Visit to Iran from 24th to 27th November 2025
On 24th November, 2025 at the Kenya Embassy in Tehran, the Ambassador was honored to host Dr. Kipronoh Ronoh the Principal Secretary, State Department for Agriculture and his counterpart Dr. Idris Salim Dokota, the Principal Secretary for Cabinet Affairs, accompanied by other government officials. The delegation was in Iran from 24th – 27th November, 2025 in furtherance of bilateral relations with the Host Country. In particular, the visit provided a forum for reviewing the progress made by the Joint Technical Committee established by H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi E.G.H., Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs and his colleague H.E. Dr. Ghlomareza Nouri Ghezelcheh, Iran’s Minister for Agricultural Jihad during the 7th Kenya – Iran Joint Commission for Cooperation meeting in Nairobi on 14th August, 2025 to advance the Kenya – Iran tea trade. Indeed, tea trade was among other strategic matters deliberated during the ministerial level meeting in Kenya.
The Principal Secretary’s visit to Iran demonstrated goodwill as well as the value Kenya attaches to the warm relationship between the two countries.
