H.E Ambassador Joshua Gatimu, EBS held a lunch meeting with the Director of Shahid Beheshti Port of Chabahar, Mr. Ehsanifar

On 23rd July, 2022- While on official visit to Chabahar, H.E Ambassador Joshua Gatimu, EBS held a lunch meeting with the Director of Shahid Beheshti Port of Chabahar, Mr. Ehsanifar and toured the facilities at the port. It was noted that Kenyan tea enters the region through the port and incentives offered were discussed.

The Ambassador later visited factories that process, value-add and pack imported Kenyan tea and coffee in Chabahar free trade zone for Iran’s domestic market and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) mainly Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Russia etc.
