H.E. the Ambassador called on Mr. Hossein Ghanati, the Vice President of the Board of Bitumen Hormoz Pars in Bandar Abbas City
At the invitation of Bitumen Hormoz Pars (BHP) a leading producer and exporter of bitumen, H.E. the Ambassador called on Mr. Hossein Ghanati, the Vice President of the Board of Bitumen Hormoz Pars on 27th October, 2025 in Bandar Abbas City, Iran.
BHP contributes significantly to road construction in various regions and thus catalysing socio-economic growth by facilitating trade, market access, and other transformative benefits. The Company is desirous of Business-to-Business engagements with Kenya’s private sector in view of the country’s infrastructure aspirations.
Also, cognizant of the recently signed Sister-City Agreement between Mombasa County and Bandar Abbas City, H.E. the Ambassador on 29th October, 2025 called on Mr. Mehdi Nobani, the Mayor of Bandar Abbas. The meeting reiterated the mutual desire for actualization of people-to-people interactions, including the inherent economic opportunities, in fulfilment of the bilateral agreements between Kenya and Iran.
