Bandar Abbas visit and meetings held.

On 23rd December, 2023- His Excellency Ambassador Joshua I. Gatimu, EBS visited the city of Bandar Abbas at the invitation of the Hormozgan provincial government to tour the city and explore collaboration opportunities between the province and Kenya. During the visit, the Ambassador paid a visit to the Shahid Rajaei port at the Bandar Abbas and witnessed the infrastructural development at the port. The Ambassador met the Director General of the port and discussed cooperation opportunities with the port of Mombasa and Lamu.

The Ambassador also held meetings with the province chambers of commerce and industry and the trade promotion organization. During both meetings the Ambassador presented trade opportunities in Kenya and identified different fields and sectors that the province can focus on for quick implementation.
