Amb. Joshua Gatimu meets the Principal Secretary, State Department for University Education and Research

Amb. Joshua Gatimu, EBS held a meeting with the Principal Secretary, State Department for University Education and Research-Amb. Simon Nabukwesi. The Ambassador briefed the Principal Secretary on Iranian Gov’t scholarship opportunities for Kenyan Students and how Kenyan universities can benefit from Iranian universities especially in technological advancement, Nanotechnology etc. He also informed the PS on Iran’s willingness to partner with Three Kenyan Universities. While responding, the PS promised to visit Iran following invitation by the Iranian Vice President during his visit to Kenya and also assured that his department will relentlessly follow up on the outcome of the Ministry’s meeting with the VP and other areas areas of interest.
