CBK – Kenya Diaspora Remittance Survey

CBK – Kenya Diaspora Remittance Survey

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) will be conducting an on-line Diaspora Remittances Survey (DRS) in March/April 2021.

The survey will be administered on Kenyans living abroad and aims at collecting valuable information on remittance inflows to Kenya, establishing efficiency and cost of the remittance channels, usage of the remittances received as well as the challenges facing Kenyans in the Diaspora in their endeavor to remit cash or non-cash transfers.

The Embassy kindly request Kenyans in Iran to participate in the upcoming survey as it will help in guiding and designing policies aimed at removing bottlenecks and mitigate challenges facing Kenyans in diaspora as they remit funds. Information shared in the survey will be treated with utmost confidentiality and will only be released in aggregate form.
