On 5 th May, 2025, H. E. the Ambassador called on the Amb. Ilyas Gayypov of Turkmenistan to Iran. The purpose of the visit was to deliver an Agrément request from the Government of Kenya to the Government of Turkmenistan
following his appointment to be Kenya’s Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, with residence in Tehran, Iran.

Also, the meeting discussed issues that are pertinent to strengthening the bilateral relations between Kenya and Turkmenistan.
