Visit to the Barkat specialized cancer hospital

On 6th March, 2024- His Excellency Ambassador Joshua I. Gatimu, EBS attended an event organized by the Barkat Specialized Cancer Hospital and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran for African Ambassadors accredited to Iran. The Ambassadors got the opportunity to visit the facility which is furnished with modern cancer treatment equipment including the cyber knife. The hospital management has shown interest and willingness to cooperate with Kenyan institutions in different areas including treatment of referral patients.
